Refunds & Credits

Types of refunds

Credit refunds go to your account balance; cash refunds go back to the primary account holder's card.

As a non-profit committed to financial transparency, we make sure everyone receives what they're owed. There are two types of refunds:

  • Credit refund: added to the student's account when classes are reduced mid-month (automatic), when there's a billing error, or when a teacher missed a class. Credits apply to future bills.
  • Cash refund: returned to the primary account holder's credit or debit card.

The system issues credits by default for common claims, but you always have the right to request cash instead, and we'll oblige.

Exception: Cash refunds are not issued for reducing classes or cancelling after the month has been charged — those cases receive automatic credits for future use.
