Fix a failed payment

Contact your bank, then update your card under Billing. Unresolved payments suspend classes on day 7 and remove you on day 14.

If Stripe couldn't charge your card, you'll be notified by email and your Billing screen will show an Outstanding Balance. Payments can fail because a card expired or there's an error in the number, expiry date, or CVV.

Steps to resolve

  1. Contact your bank or card company to confirm there are sufficient funds and the card wasn't declined for another reason. You can look up the exact decline reason in Stripe's decline codes.
  2. Log in at LZ.Tanzeel.org.
  3. From the top navigation dropdown, select Billing.
  4. Click Update next to Credit/Debit Card and enter your card details.

Once the issue is fixed, Stripe automatically retries the balance owed and you'll receive an email receipt on success.

What happens if it's not resolved

  • The system retries your card daily until it succeeds.
  • Day 7: final warning — you can no longer attend classes, and the classroom application becomes inactive.
  • Days 7–14: your window to update the card and clear the balance.
  • Day 14: if the balance is still outstanding, you're removed from the schedule and can no longer continue classes.
